Option #1 will be the installation of a completely new storage tank and associated piping with one that meet the EPA storage tank regulations. Total replacement is the most costly option to meet these storage tank regulations.

Option # 2 is to upgrade your storage tanks to meet the new storage tank regulations. This is a great option as it is quicker, less down time and is less than half the cost than option #1. Your existing storage tanks and piping can be retrofitted with a secondary containment layer.

Option #3 is to remove your out storage tank and stop selling gasoline. Sounds abrasive, but if you do not replace your storage tanks or reline them you will be forced to remove them, which will probably cost as much as option #2.
